We used Capital City Plumbing and Drain a number of times for different things in our residential home. Just today we got their service done for a leaking kitchen sink that is dripping water onto the floor of the sink cabinet underneath it. We found out about this leak yesterday, that could have been collecting water underneath for about week (our guess). I cleaned the water out as soon as I noticed it. Subsequently I called Capital Plumbing yesterday evening for help. They have scheduled a tech person for the very next day morning schedule. Sure enough the tech person by name Hunter showed up at 8 am at my home today. I greeted him and showed him the way to the sink. Hunter spent about 20 minutes diagnosing the issue, and finally determined that it was the garbage disposer that went bad over many years of us. When a large amount of water gets into the disposer all at once (presumably from dish washer use), the garbage disposer is leaking/dripping water, per his assessment. He gave a quote for replacement of the garbage disposer (parts and labor), it was $435 (including the visit and diagnostic charge). We agreed for him to move forward with the work. He went back to his warehouse to pickup the part and came back immediately and took around 20 to 30 minutes to finish installing the new one and testing it in multiple ways. He said, they give 1 year warranty on parts and labor for this service. I am satisfied with their work and warranty. Hunter has been extremely polite and did his work expeditiously and with diligence. I recommend Capital City Plumbing and Drain company for any of your plumbing needs in future.
